Misha, composer and singer from Mainz, has been living in Moscow for several years and maintains contact to the local jazz scene. She assembled an outstanding band with top musicians and the result is a CD worth listening to. She processed texts by lyricist, Marion Otto, into beautiful, melodic and partly very lyrical jazz pieces. Very versatile and passionate musically and lyrically. Everything fits together - the clear, flexible voice with a multitude of facets and an impressive range. Sometimes cheeky and playful, yet always emotional. The musicians bring the compositions to life. Once again, the Rodenstein Label has succeeded in giving jazz a new face
