MISHA, what a beautiful name! But not just the name produces "sound". The multi-faceted vocal artistry of this Russian-based musician impresses. The CD „Early Train" boasts refined original compositions and picks up where the previous album left off: the funky opener „As If They Danced" lets the listener dive into the melodically diverse and rich harmonic musical world of MISHA. The pianist, Jakov Okun, brilliantly accompanies her on Fender Rhodes and bass player. Anton Revnyuk, leaves his mark with a solo on the opening track in this conceptionally well thought out album which provides pure listening pleasure especially for vocal jazz fans.
